Welcome to Britain... by order of the Peaky Blinders. 

Discover what life was like for the British working class between 1919 - 1939.

 This talk will delve into a variety of diverse subjects, such as shell shock, the suffragettes, prohibition, and, of course, Birmingham, Britain's second largest city. 

 The six seasons of Peaky Blinders will be analysed in great detail.

 So, get your flat cap, put on your best attire, and join us for an evening of crime, ambition, and revelry!

There will be a short Q&A following the talk. 

What are "Talks in English"?

Our "Talks in English" series is organized as part of our Teaching Centre activities  and is open to all free of charge, upon registration and within the limits of available places.

We offer monthly Talks in English on different themes, given by our teachers and  external speakers. Information about the upcoming events will be available on our website and social media networks. 

We also offer refreshments at the end of the conference to allow participants to practice their English
