If looking at the sunday evening movie on Tf1 doesn't turn you on (or Netflix, or whatever), why not try the weekly quiz @ the Highlander scottish pub.

* Fully in english, with this rocky scottish accent that would make even the most fluent in english doubtful (but as a team, we ultimately manage to understand the questions and even give some correct answers !) 

* General knowledge questions with 8 series oganized like "Trivial Pursuit":

- recent news

- Arts and Litterature

- Leisure

- Sciences or History 5

- Geography

- Sports  (anglo-saxon weird ones...)

- Music round from the 60s' till today .

- 2 rounds of bonus numerical questions (for instance, what's the percentage of Liechtenchtein's GDP through selling artificial teeth ?)

- And last but not least, picture round with 10 questions mostly movies .

Every Sunday evening The Highlander is hosting a pub quiz where you will be challenged on your general knowledge, while you are in good company, either with friends or our talkative bartenders. The winning team will get a bottle of champagne.

Sample questions : This fruit kills 150 people a year when it falls down from the trees, that is 10 times the number of people killed by sharks, whats the name of the fruit? In which Disney film will you hear the song ‘Everybody Wants To Be A Cat’? 
Who invented the airplane? What's the exact recipe of a "screaming orgasm" ? (the cocktail, of course)

Le quiz est à 21h mais je propose de nous retrouver plus tôt pour avoir de la place, faire connaissance et discuter.

La sortie est "gratuite" evidemment. Mais ayant lieu dans un bar, ce dernier s'attend à ce que quelques participants prennent au moins une consommation
