Allons à une rencontre avec Jennifer Tipton conceptrice d'éclairage américaine qui a conçu pour la danse, le théâtre et l'opéra.
Called "The Queen of Theater Lighting” by POLITICO,
Jennifer Tipton has created lighting design for a who’s who of dance, theater, and opera, ranging from Paul Taylor to Robert Wilson to the Wooster Group (and just last year the Broadway revival of West Side Story). Along the way, she has acquired Tonys, Bessies, the Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize, and was named a MacArthur “genius” Fellow.
On the occasion of the Paris Opera Ballet’s performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream—choreography by George Balanchine, costumes and sets by Christian Lacroix, and lighting design by Jennifer Tipton—Ms. Tipton will be in conversation with Arts Arena Founder and Artistic Director Margery Arent Safir. Their topic: The Secret Power of the Designer Behind the Lights.
A coupe de champagne will follow.
