Synopsis
En 1968, Martin Luther King est assassiné et la guerre du Biafra entraîne une terrible famine. Gabriel a fui le Nigéria et vit à San Francisco, au contact de la communauté afro-américaine comme des milieux bohèmes blancs. Dans ces États-Unis très agités des sixties, sa vie d'exil est jalonnée de rencontres, d'escapades et d'errances, mais il reste habité de souvenirs et de la nostalgie du village de son enfance. Bientôt, son visa arrive à expiration...
